Welcome to Pixies Quality Childcare
At Pixies Quality Childcare, we provide a warm, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. As a family-owned nursery in the heart of Milton Bridge, Penicuik, we understand the importance of creating a home-from-home atmosphere where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Our recently refurbished, open-plan nursery is bright, spacious, and thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of children from birth to 5 years. Dedicated play and learning areas, created using carefully planned room dividers, allow children to build friendships and explore alongside others at a similar age and stage, while still enjoying the benefits of a connected and inclusive setting.
We believe that some of the best learning happens through play and exploration. Our covered outdoor garden provides children with daily opportunities to enjoy fresh air and active play whatever the weather, while our stunning countryside location opens the door to endless adventures. Surrounded by the natural beauty of rural Scotland, children can discover wildlife, explore the changing seasons, and develop a love of nature through rich, hands-on experiences.
At Pixies, we combine high-quality childcare with a caring, family-centred approach, giving children the confidence to explore, learn, and flourish in a safe and stimulating environment—and giving parents peace of mind knowing their child is happy, cared for, and inspired every day.
